Job overview

An excellent opportunity for an inspiring, ambitious, enthusiastic Lecturer in Public Services has arisen to join our experienced team. Working within the Sport and Public Services team you will teach across a range of modules and programmes and participate in the development of existing and new course programmes.

Applicants should have either a strong background in Public Services or significant experience of teaching across this curriculum area. Experience of teaching functional skills maths and English is required. Applicants should be teacher qualified or willing to undertake a full teacher training qualification.

Chelmsford College is a further education college based in Essex. It is a non-denominational school.

The college was founded in 1962 and currently offers a variety of courses, both vocational and professional.

The college plays a role in The Football Academy programme in partnership with Colchester United and Maldon & Tiptree Football Club.

The enrichment programme also offers specific trips to support students’ learning such as New York and Milan for Art, Design and Media students. In addition to this, the college itself provides a wide range of events, guest speakers and sports activities.
