Wombourne High School are recruiting for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to start in January/February 2022.

Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2022

Working 28.75 hours per week and term time only 39 weeks per year.

Grade 3, Spine Points 3-4

We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 700 employees and over 5,000 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified, motivated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our committed and talented team of staff at Wombourne High School.  The school’s key values include hard work, positivity and kindness, and we are looking for staff who can model these values. 

The successful candidate will work as part of a team based within the Inclusion Department and must have the knowledge and skills to help students overcome barriers to their learning and fulfil their potential.  They will work with students who exhibit the full range of Special Educational Needs and will work in a range of subject areas.                                                                                       

Recognised qualifications and experience of working with SEN pupils are desirable.  However, candidates without formal qualifications but some experience of working with young people in either a formal or informal setting are welcome to apply as training will be provided if required.
