Level 3 Apprenticeship Pay Rates:
16-17 £4.50 per hour (equivalent to £8,681 pa)
18-20 £6.20 per hour (equivalent to £11,961 pa)
21-24 £7.68 per hour (equivalent to £14,816 pa)
25+ £7.83 per hour (equivalent to £15,105 pa)
Leeds City College ITSS Service Desk has an opportunity for someone to join the team for 18 months and learn essential skills for any career in IT, in a supportive team setting whilst also gaining a Level 3 IT qualification that includes some industry-recognised qualifications from Cisco & Microsoft. The Service Desk team offer responsive help, advice and support via telephone, email and remote support tools to colleagues in Leeds City College and the White Rose Academies Trust. The team also manages and maintains several systems (e.g. Mobile Device Management) and works closely with all IT colleagues to solve issues and contribute to IT projects.
This varied role has a customer service and communication focus and this is what matters the most to us. The role will also give you the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge, solve technically challenging issues, investigate complex problems and acquire real-world support experience. No previous experience of working in a support role needed, just a helpful attitude, an existing qualification or a general interest in IT and a desire to learn and to pursue a career somewhere in the IT sector are what we are looking for.
