ABC Teachers are looking to recruit a fully qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work 5 days per week at a 3-form entry primary school in Burton-On-Trent. This role will be due to start in September 2019. 

The expectations for this are as follows:

• Qualified to Level 3 or Above.

• Experience of 12 Months or more in a Classroom setting.

• Ability to work 1-2-1 or with groups of Children.

• A strong work ethic and a dedication to providing excellence.

Located in Burton-On-Trent, this allows an easy commute for both drivers and non-drivers with links from Lichfield, Derby and Tamworth. The school has the privilege of being set in the middle of an extensive green field site. This gives the pupils the opportunity to experience a variety of different learning environments and gives the school a spacious, calm atmosphere. Their outdoor facilities include two playgrounds, a large sports field, a garden and woodland area. Inside they have large classrooms and facilities which include a purpose built gym, well-resourced library, a permanent stage, computing suite and community room.

The successful candidate must have energy, enthusiasm, drive and determination to further raise standards through outstanding teaching and learning.

To register with us, all candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview, hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce on the Update Service and also gain references to cover the last 2 years. Please note that all teachers must hold valid QTS. For any Teaching Assistant roles you must hold an NVQ Level 3 or above, a relevant educational degree or a minimum of 3 months relevant experience within a UK school in the last 5 years.
