Job overview

The Heys School wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative person to become our new Librarian and Literacy Support Officer.  Applicants should be creative and forward thinking and have the drive and motivation to support the further development of the department and the school. We are looking for someone who can inspire and engage our learners through a range of text and IT resources, alongside providing an engaging environment which nurtures potential and uses innovative ideas to challenge students to enjoy reading, learning and building knowledge.

Responsible for managing stock and developing the opportunities available in this area to ensure the environment supports the pastoral and academic aims of the school curriculum.

You will be joining a committed team of staff, who work with enthusiastic and positive students, who are keen to learn. The school is on an exciting journey as they work in partnership with The Rowan Learning Trust.
