About the role: 

Cleeve Park School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and driven librarian to join us from September 2022. At Cleeve Park School, reading is a highly valued skill within our curriculum and is central to our identity as a school community. We believe in all students as readers and we promote the value of reading in unlocking literacy skills, building cultural capital, improving academic outcomes and fostering a love of the written word for life. This is an exciting student facing role, ideal for a self-starter with a passion for reading, especially young adult fiction and non-fiction. 

The successful candidate will be the Accelerated Reader lead and will deliver a programme of induction, research and reading based lessons to classes, alongside their English teacher. They will take ownership of the promotion of reading within the school and work alongside others in improving reading and literacy related outcomes.
