Salary: Scale 6 Point 26-28, £20,868 to £22,266 per annum

Permanent – Immediate Start


The Northworthy Trust are inviting applications for the above post based at The Long Eaton School.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and ambitious team of staff, who are committed to improving attainment levels across the school through their passion for teaching and learning.  


The successful applicant will be professional, adaptable and dedicated to delivering high quality Library Service to the students and staff of the school.  You will have strong communication skills and will be able to work well within a team, yet be able to demonstrate an ability to utilise your own initiative.  You will be motivated and resilient and be able to demonstrate the skills required to encourage students to develop a life-long love of reading and literature.  The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their experience of a similar role and their suitability to working within a busy secondary school environment.  You will hold either a minimum of a relevant library and information qualification at NVQ Level 3 or have the equivalent demonstrable experience.  Ideally you will be a fully qualified Chartered Librarian.
