Library and Learning Resource Centre Faciliator, HMP Guys Marsh

Weston College is seeking to employ an outstanding Library & Learning Resource Centre Facilitator to join the Offender Learning Team at HMP Guys Marsh.   

Weston College is the regional provider for OLASS 4 prison education delivery across the South West of England and has now expanded its provision to deliver the contract for Library Services at HMP Guys Marsh.  You will be required to provide and promote outstanding Library and Learning Resource Centre services and facilities that are flexible and responsive to the needs of all learners and the wider prison community. 

You will work collaboratively with curriculum and prison staff as well as partner agencies to develop and promote the Learning Resource Centre and its services to maximise access and usage for learning, leisure, well-being, resettlement and employment progression. 

 Ideally you will have experience of working in an education environment and/or a prison environment. Experience of working in Libraries or being a qualified Librarian is desirable but not essential.
