Merici College is an IB World School, authorized to offer the Diploma Program (Years 11-12) and in the process of candidacy for the Middle Years Program (Year 7-10).

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Library/Information Centre Assistant to join our inclusive team.

Essential Criteria:

  • An understanding of and a commitment to the aims and ideals of the Catholic ethos;

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience and a willingness to undertake professional development;

  • High level interpersonal skills in relation to both adults and young women;

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team;

  • Ability to work with a diverse range of students;

  • Demonstrated high level organization and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize individual workload;

  • Clear oral and written communications skills;

  • Ability to use a level of technology appropriate to the position, including the library management system (Oliver), SCIS, Clickview, reference databases and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
