Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a Literacy Intervention Lead who will be part of our highly successful Learning Support Team, working alongside the SENDCo and Deputy SENDCo. This position is to work closely with students, staff and parents, developing the provision for students with Dyslexia and Literacy issues, including the Literacy Intervention programme.

We are looking to appoint a candidate who is highly motivated, optimistic, solution focused and flexible. They must be open to change, should work well as part of a committed team and must be able to cope with the various demands of working in a busy, engaging, exciting and highly successful secondary school. In addition, the successful candidate should be willing and prepared to develop their skills through ongoing professional learning.
