Job overview

Fixed Term contract whilst named child is in attendance at Claycots School

10 hours per week, 11.30am to 1:30pm, Monday to Friday

Term time only

As the largest primary school in the country, we are excited to be recruiting for a variety of roles to meet the needs of our rapid expansion. Following on from our recent successful Ofsted judgement (February 2015) we are seeking ambitious values driven professionals who are willing to work with us in our expansion and support us in driving forward the agenda for social equality and excellent provision for our children.

We are looking for 3 Lunchtime Controllers at the Britwell Campus to ensure the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils with additional needs during the midday break in the dining area and playground. You need to provide support to these pupils, assist with cleanliness of the dining area and engage the children in developmental play.

You will need to closely monitor the safety and wellbeing of a child/group of children with additional needs and promote their social and emotional skills.

The ideal candidates will have good interpersonal skills with an ability to deal with matters calmly, swiftly and firmly. They will need to be reliable, punctual and flexible.

Previous experience of working in a school environment and with SEN children would be an advantage for all these roles but is not essential, as training will be provided to the right candidate. Knowledge of First Aid and Health and Safety are required.

These roles are on a fixed term basis to support a named child whilst in attendance at Claycots School on our Britwell Campus.

For further information, please contact us via email: recruitment@Claycots.slough.sch.uk or contact 0118 207 0421 for an application pack. A downloadable application form is available on our school website: http://www.claycots.com/160/vacancies
