Salary: Grade 1, Scale Point 1 £3,616 Actual Salary
Hours: 9 hours per week, Term Time Only
Monday 11:25am - 1:25pm, Tuesday - Friday 11:25am - 1:10pm

The Thrive Co-operative Learning Trust formally YHCLT is responsible for nine schools across Hull; two secondary and seven primary. We are committed to ensuring that all of our schools have access to high quality support services to underpin the excellent work that our schools do in educating our pupils. 

Chiltern Primary School has 420 children aged between 4 and 11 years old. We are looking for 2 Lunchtime Supervisors to join our committed staff team.


You would be responsible for:

  • Supporting children in playing games and being physically active during the lunchtime break
  • Planning activities with the children
  • Giving children the freedom to spend their leisure time in their own way
  • Encouraging fair and caring behaviour among the children
  • Encouraging independence and self-esteem
  • Talking to children about their concerns or worries
  • Keeping records


We are looking for someone who enjoys motivating children and has the ability to supervise activities and to promote positive social skills. You would be a good role model reflecting the ethos of the school. You would need to make sure that play is safe, and encourage children to be aware of their own safety and that of others.
