Responsibilities

Kowloon Junior School (KJS) is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced classroom teacher. This position will be a full-time finite contract from January 2019.

KJS is one of the primary schools under the English Schools Foundation (ESF), the largest provider of English-medium international education in Hong Kong, and is a very large, well-established five form entry school catering for 900 students from Year 1 to Year 6. It is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and is an IB World School. Teaching and learning at KJS is rich in inquiry and underpinned by a rigorous approach to pedagogy and practice.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a talented and accomplished primary teacher with the required knowledge, skills and understanding to work closely with an experienced team of educators, dedicated to catering for the needs of all children in their care. They will have an excellent understanding of the Primary Years Programme. In addition to being an exemplar practitioner and excellent team player, the successful candidate will have a warm personality coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
