We are seeking an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to cover a period of maternity leave of approximately 12 months.
Supporting the Marketing, Admissions and Communications Director with the day-to-day running of department related activities and initiatives, duties will include management of the School’s digital channels and platforms, the creation and production of a range of collateral and new content (including adverts, flyers, newsletters) in addition to sourcing and generating regular new content and carrying out various administrative duties.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working in a marketing function within a medium-large sized organisation within the commercial sector. Additional experience of the education sector would be advantageous. Experience in publications, being able to produce different types of promotional material including electronic communications and digital media content is essential. Also necessary are strong IT (MS Office) skills, including significant and demonstrable experience with creative publishing packages such as Adobe CreativeSuite and InDesign is required, as this person will need to be able to design and produce a range of high quality marketing materials using InDesign. Additionally, proficiency in website and App CMS management and HTML coding. Excellent organisational skills, accurate proof-reading skills and attention to detail are vital.
Hours are 26 per week during term time, preferably worked over four days per week, plus up to two weeks during the School holidays. Daily starting and finishing times can be negotiated.
