We are seeking to appoint a Marketing & PR Manager who is proactive with a natural talent for networking and building relationships. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of a strategic marketing plan for the School. You will work with the Executive Team to formulate, promote and execute strategic whole-School marketing campaigns while raising the School’s profile through focused public relations initiatives.

You will have a close working relationship with the Admissions team to increase student recruitment through the production of targeted marketing plans and campaigns across the key admissions areas of the School; the Enterprise Manager for the promotion of all commercial activities undertaken by the School’s trading company. The Marketing & PR Manager will have responsibility for the Events Officer, a role that is currently vacant.

Mount St Mary’s College is an HMC independent day and boarding school for boys and girls, including A-Level studies. Our Preparatory School, Barlborough Hall is a day school and includes a Nursery provision. Following our most recent ISI inspection in October 2023, it was noted 'EYFS is effectively managed and the individual needs and abilities of the children are met in all areas of development.'

We are a special community with a proud history and a bright future, located in rural Derbyshire near Sheffield and Chesterfield. We offer 250 acres of picturesque grounds and a blend of traditional and modern facilities.

The recent ISI Inspection at Mount St Mary's College found that 'pupils feel safe in school' and there is a 'culture of vigilance which promotes the safeguarding and welfare of pupils.'
