Inspire their remarkable with us

About us:

Academies Enterprise Trust (AET) is a national educational trust committed to delivering an excellent education that launches all the children in our care into a remarkable life. It is our deeply held belief that every child has something remarkable to offer and we see it as our duty to help each and every child find this within themselves.

AET has been through a significant period of change over the last two years.  Bar the name above the door, everything about AET has changed: our leadership; our governance; our financial controls; our school improvement and our curriculum support. The Executive team now wishes to move the organisation’s marketing and communications work onto a more proactive footing, reflecting the transformation that is under way.

AET is at an exciting stage of its marketing and communications: the group has a new Mission, Vision and set of Values; ‘Remarkable Lives’ has been launched as the new brand proposition which is being adopted throughout the group and school touch points; a new EVP has been created and the group culture has shifted to embrace marketing.

The roles:

These are newly created, influential roles and will support the development and implementation of the marketing strategy that covers both AET as a brand, and all of our 58 individual academies. The strategy is data driven and will model effective tactics and channels to achieve pupil number growth/expansion targets at each school as well as integrate new schools into the group.  You will be core members of the Marketing & Communications Team working in a fast-paced environment, which currently comprises a recently appointed Director of Marketing & Communications, an Internal Communications Manager as well as External Communications support.

The ideal candidates:

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference and impress in these influential roles.  You will be a strategic thinker with the ability to analyse data and translate insight and customer/market knowledge into short and long term plans that deliver growth. You will have a proven track-record in partnering schools and academies to increase pupil numbers through effective marketing campaigns and tactics.  You will have excellent organisational skills, think conceptually and a proactive, can-do attitude with a drive to deliver quality across all areas. In addition, an ability to work under pressure and work collaboratively is also essential.

Why should you join us:

We passionately believe that every child can discover their own remarkable life. It’s what motivates us around here. We know this vision requires something extra. Which is why at AET, you’ll find more. More opportunities, so you can forge your own path. More care and support, so you can prioritise what matters most. More purpose, for you and for the children we’re inspiring.

We offer:

  • More influence - As a Trust with almost 60 schools, the work of our support team directly influences the lives of tens of thousands of children.
  • More opportunity for a national role - Our central team develops strategies and resources that support our academies nationwide.
  • More connection - the opportunity to experience what’s happening within our diverse academies and the impact we have on the children we serve daily.
  • More ambitious, professional and passionate colleagues - All focused on delivering remarkable lives.

We are ideally looking for the positions to commence as soon as possible.
