An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding candidate to become Marketing Manager to cover maternity leave for approximately one year. We are seeking someone who is proactive, organised and enthusiastic, with vision and skills to become an essential part of this successful department. The person appointed will be responsible for implementing all day-to-day Marketing and PR activities throughout the School, with a focus on pupil recruitment and retention. This is a great role for someone who has experience in marketing and events management.
The Marketing Manager will deliver key areas of the External Relations strategy overseeing targeted campaigns and initiatives across a number of channels including ATL, press/PR, print, digital and events. The postholder will also be responsible for important areas of internal communications and will work closely alongside the Admissions team.
The Admissions and Marketing Department is an integral part of the success of the school. The team consists of a Director of External Relations, a Registrar, an Admissions Officer, a Marketing Manager and a Marketing Assistant. The members work collaboratively and focus on delivering seamless customer service and industry leading marketing practises. The successful applicant should expect to become embedded in the life of the school with opportunities to engage with different departments and teams, as well as developing skills through training opportunities.
Founded in Folkestone in 1886, Kent College is an independent day and boarding school for girls, with a Senior School (ages 11-18) and Preparatory School (ages 3-11) sharing the same site, facilities and some specialist staff.
