Job overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person to lead our strategic marketing activities. The successful candidate will have oversight and responsibility for the Academy's digital communications,  the website and social media outlets and generally promoting the work of the Academy. Central to this role will be the ability to constantly evolve in line with developments in new technologies.

You will have:

The ideal candidate for the Marketing Support role will also have:

  • GCSE English and Maths to at least Grade C or 4 (or equivalent);
  • A willingness to innovate to find new, more efficient and effective work models;
  • Excellent IT and communication skills;
  • An ability to prioritise workload and work accurately under pressure;
  • Recent and relevant experience to the position, ideally within a school environment;
  • A flexible approach to working hours to support effective delivery of the role;
  • An understanding of effective PR and marketing communications;
  • Experience in using/evaluation the impact of the use of social media for promotion and marketing;
  • Experience in promotion of marketing and developing websites.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an academy that is rapidly improving and was recognised in our most recent OfSTED inspection (November 2019).

We can offer a salary within a range of £18,090-£20,374 p.a. (FTE £20,493-£23,080) negotiable depending on relevant experience.  The position is Term Time plus 2 weeks.
