Ridgewood High School is situated at the heart of Wollaston on the outskirts of Stourbridge,  surrounded by greenbelt.  We have 800 students aged 11 – 16.  Our ‘small school with a big heart’ is certainly on the way up.  Our recent monitoring visit points to “clear evidence of improvement in several areas of school life including behaviour and teaching.  Our staff are keen to be part of the school improvement, morale is good”. 

We would like to appoint an experienced and highly effective leader with determination, drive and a genuine belief that all our students can achieve. You will have a real opportunity to make a difference at Ridgewood High School.  The quality of teaching and standards achieved in Maths have improved dramatically in recent years and we are looking for someone to lead an increasingly successful team who foster each student’s interest, ability and confidence in Maths.
