Due to rising numbers we are looking to appoint a suitably qualified Mathematics Teacher with a passion for instilling confidence in our enthusiastic and well-behaved pupils. The position would suit a new or experienced teacher with enthusiasm and drive who would like to make a difference to our pupils, in small classes of up to twelve, who enjoy mathematics but who often need additional support with needs such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia .
As vacancies are rare at ERS we would encourage a visit to the school, or an introductory phone conversation. ERS is not a special school but all pupils have SEN and work at all levels progressing to GCSE and other public examinations, before leaving for college, 6th Form schools and Further Education.

Egerton Rothesay School, located on the outskirts of Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire, is an all-through, co-educational school for children aged 8 to 19. There are 160 pupils enrolled in total. The school’s modern buildings are surrounded by spacious grounds, with dedicated areas for one-to-one teaching, the junior school and specialist support teams.
Egerton Rothesay caters for children with a range of needs, from dyslexia and dyspraxia as well as those with school anxiety.

Egerton Rothesay School was founded on Christian values. The school encourages pupils to learn about the religious community and Christian beliefs. All students are expected to attend assemblies and religious education lessons, as well as church services. Pupils are also encouraged to get involved and celebrate the milestones of the faith.
Teachers value each child for who they are and students are urged to show respect to their peers. The school aims to allow children to learn in a caring environment, with excellent teaching staff.
