Mathematics Teacher

Bellver International College is a non-denominational, co-educational day school. Founded in 1950, Bellver is the longest established privately owned British school in Spain. The school is currently responsible for the education of around 200 children, from 3 to 18 years-old. We cater for children of both the local community and the international community of Mallorca. Due to our one-form-entry system, the number of students in each form rarely exceeds 20.
The college is situated close to the beach (opposite to the King of Spain's summer palace) in a residential area 3 km from the centre of Palma de Mallorca. Thanks to its location and climate, Mallorca is one of the most vibrant islands in the Mediterranean, being both culturally and economically active all year round.
The school is looking to appoint a qualified, enthusiastic and experienced Mathematics teacher to join our successful and friendly Secondary School Department in September 2021, or as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach the subject across Key Stages 3 to 5, display and promote excellence in teaching and learning and have the ability to inspire pupils. A solid knowledge of IGCSE and International A Levels’ curriculum is essential. Besides, the successful candidate must have the capacity to teach the IGCSE and A level Further Mathematics syllabi.
This position is ideal for any professional who wants to gain some experience in international education or someone who relishes a new challenge.
We welcome applications from newly-qualified teachers.
Letters of application should be accompanied by a CV, names and e-mail addresses of at least two referees (including one from the most recent school employer) and sent to info@bellvercollege.com by Friday 16th April.
Interviews will be held by video conference.
