Maths & English Lead Practitioner (Primary)

ISB  are  looking  to  recruit  a  full  time  Lead  Practitioner   in   Math   and   English.   This  would suit a  Math or English specialist with a  proven track record in raising  standards and  coaching  colleagues.  A  secure  knowledge  of  the Primary Science Curriculum is desirable.  This  is  an  ideal  opportunity  for  an  aspiring  leader  or  a  specialist  leader  of  education  (SLE).  

Established in 1964, International School Brunei (ISB) has over 50 years of experience as a non-profit, vibrant, inclusive school. This  is  a  new  position  for  ISB  and  applicants  need  to  be  able  to  develop  the  role  to  meet  the  needs  of  the  school  and  demonstrate working and leading using their  own initiative. The primary role of a Lead Practitioner is to  model    and    lead    the    development    of  classroom  expertise in Mathematics,  English  and  Science.  The  Lead  Practitioner  will  be  an  outstanding  teacher.  

Whilst  this  role  has  no  class  commitment  it  is  expected  that  the  teacher   team   teaches,   coaches   colleagues  and provides occasional cover.
