We are looking for an outstanding Teacher to raise the quality of teaching and learning in Mathematics. A Lead Practitioner who is ambitious and highly motivated to lead others.

About the School:

As part of our continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a SEN Teacher with a specialisation in Primary and/or working with children on the Autistic Spectrum to join our close-knit team at Belmont Primary School and help develop and drive our Primary Curriculum. If you are looking to join a dedicated team in a school that will welcome your ideas and re-engage our young people, we would like to hear from you.

We provide outstanding education for boys aged 5-11 with a range of complex needs including a range of social, emotional and mental health needs and also pupils who have been diagnosed with autism or demonstrate behaviours associated with autism. You will contribute to making Belmont a high quality provision and a leading light for our young people and their families. We provide a therapeutic, supportive and inclusive learning environment and are committed to raising achievement and enabling pupils to recognise their potential and supporting them through a personalised, engaging curriculum.

About the Group:

We are part of Acorn Care and Education and can promise you plenty of challenges, and a rich variety of opportunities to develop your career.

We provide Education and Care across a number of schools and residential homes nationally. Our specialist SEN provision, coupled with our expertise within residential care means we offer thousands of vulnerable children and young people across the UK a holistic, wraparound care, residential and education service, empowering them with everything they need to flourish. It is by no accident that 94% of our homes are rated as Outstanding or Good.

We welcome staff who share our commitment to help children experience better days and better lives. Through ongoing development and training, we ensure our staff are well prepared for their jobs and given every opportunity to extend their skills.

Acorn Care and Education is part of the Outcomes First Group.

We require an experienced and qualified teacher who has the ability to make a significant contribution to our school. The successful candidate will be an innovative, reflective practitioner who can demonstrate the willingness to adapt and learn. We are looking for an individual with high expectations and standards who can offer excellent behavioural management skills. An additional strength would be a creative, engaging approach to curriculum design and planning both within the classroom and also in the wider outdoor learning environment.
