MATHEMATICS TEACHER, FULL TIME, PERMANENT

Mathematics is a strong and key department within our School. The department consists of 10 full time colleagues, jointly led by Co-Teaching and Learning Leaders. The department is at the heart of the school focus on Teaching & Learning with staff making regular contributions to departmental and whole school CPD.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach Mathematics across the full age and ability range. The department currently offers AQA GCSE Mathematics and also GCSE Statistics within Key Stage 4.

The school is in a strong position to move forward and build upon positive elements of the latest Ofsted report. The department is well led and managed and staff work hard to create a team ethos. Outcomes have been strong for several years, but the department is now reflecting on how to ensure appropriate progress for all. Teaching and Learning are the main focus of our development plans, with individual coaching now becoming embedded within our weekly routines.
