Applications are welcome for the position of mathematics teacher at Pleckgate High School, a high performing academy with Progress 8 scores of +0.40 in 2017 and +0.1 in 2018. This is a special opportunity for an outstanding, ambitious and dynamic teacher to join the school during the most exciting new phase of its journey to outstanding. You will play a vital role in taking the department and school forward on the next stage of our journey.

We are a large secondary school situated on the northern outskirts of Blackburn with Darwen, comprising of 1100 students and 200 staff with state of the art facilities that benefit both the school and local community.

We are a large secondary school, part  of the Education Partnership Trust (EPT), situated on the northern outskirts of Blackburn.  Our school community is made up of 1350 students and 180 staff with excellent facilities to benefit both the school and local community.  Pleckgate High School is a thriving multicultural community that places the best interests of young people at the heart of everything we do.
