Maths Teacher

 Key Responsibilities: 

Working alongside other teachers look to take ownership of your specific area of Maths 

Extra Curricular involvement in clubs and other ad-hoc events. 

Pastoral duties taking on a form group of a specific year. 

Maintaining and controlling the reporting process for specific pupils under your remit. 

Ability to set targets in relation to Common Entrance exams to guide Year 3 students through to Year 8. 

Working closely with the Director of Studies to assess key areas of the curriculum. 

Maintaining levels of discipline in alignment with the schools policy. 

 Requirements: 

A UK teaching qualification such as PGCE/PGDE, SCITT, BEd or MEd with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 

A relevant BA/MA in Maths or a related subject 

Previous experience of delivering Maths up to Common Entrance 

Outstanding ICT skills. 

Excellent communication skills. 

Previous private sector experience (Desirable). 

Strong morals and ethics.  

Active Enhanced DBS.
