FutureSkills at MediaCityUK have an exciting opportunity for a technician to provide efficient and effective technical support within the Media Make up department. The department continues to grow in size and reputation and currently runs courses from level 2 to Level 6 in disciplines such as fashion photographic make up, special effects, prosthetic wig making, hair dressing and styling. Working flexibly across the department, you will provide appropriate support to teaching staff and learners with the aim of ensuring an outstanding learner experience. The right candidate will have prior knowledge of the subject areas with at least a Level 2 qualification in either Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy and/or Media make up.

You will also be responsible for carrying out day to day safety checks on equipment and tools ensuring all are kept secure when not in use. The role will also involve supporting the teaching team with events and the planning of trips and visits. In addition, stock rotation and ordering will be an integral part of the role.
