We are looking to recruit a highly experienced Mental Health and Well-Being Officer to the college's Additional Learning Support team. The post holder will contribute to the excellent levels of support offered to our students. Delivering one to one mentoring, small group support sessions and reacting to crisis situations.
The successful applicant will hold a level 4 qualification / professional training in a relevant area of professional practice. I.e. Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or equivalent health/social care/counselling qualification. You will also have a full understanding of all aspects of the field of mental health and well-being, underpinned by relevant experience.
The post will involve working 28 hours per week term time only (38 weeks). Core hours 9:30 - 4:00 Monday to Friday. One post will be based at our Conway Park Campus and one based at our Twelve Quays Campus in Birkenhead, Wirral. The successful applicant will be able to join the College's pension scheme as well as receive the College's generous holiday entitlement.
