Job overview

Czesc! Ihola! Salut ! We have been teaching Polish, alongside French for the past four years at Central Primary and as our current Polish teacher is leaving the school to work nearer to home so we have an exciting opportunity for a new Polish/ Spanish or French teacher to join our school and add to our rich and engaging language curriculum. We currently teach Polish and French from Year 1 to Year 6 so all of our pupils learn two languages as they progress through the school. Ideally, we would like to continue to teach Polish, but after several rounds of applications we have decided to broaden our search and we are looking for someone who could teach Polish/ Spanish or French across the school. The post is part-time (0.5) and the hours are 11:30 - 3pm Monday to Friday. There is planning time allocated within your teaching timetable and on different days you will work with different groups of children.

Closing date: 22/06/2018 12:00:00
Interview date: 26th Jun 2018

Central Primary is a happy, interesting and rewarding place to work. We have two Speech & Language Bases and approximately 400 children on roll. Our school is currently expanding from 1Fe to 2Fe. The school is in the centre of Watford with good transport links and serves an ethnically diverse community. We are committed to safeguarding children therefore this post will require a full DBS police and medical check. Visits are warmly recommended. Please apply on line.
