Midday Assistant 

Term time only,  permanent  

7.5hours per week (12noon-1:30pm, Mon-Fri)  

(QKS MAT Salary Scale A – starting £16,495 FTE, £2,436 pro rata) 

We are seeking a Midday Assistant to join our special school. Responsibilities will include supervising pupils as they eat or before / after lunch, personal care for pupils including changing of continence wear, assisting pupils with eating and in some cases feeding pupils.  

Experience of working with children with special needs is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.  The school is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. 

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure via the Disclosure & Barring Services (DBS).
