We are seeking to appoint a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Lunchtime Organiser to join our vibrant and wonderful team at Kingsway Park High School, part of Altus Education Partnership.
About the role
To ensure the safety, welfare, and good behaviour of pupils during lunchtime, both in the dining area and the grounds, creating a safe, happy and positive environment for all pupils.
General duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising children in the dining hall, ensuring orderly behaviour, good table manners and proper hygiene.
- Encouraging good table manners and positive behaviour.
- Engaging with the pupils during lunchtime, ensuring that it is a positive experience, promoting healthy eating and assisting any students that may need additional support.
- Supporting children in play activities both in and outdoors and promoting inclusion
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all pupils.
About you
You will be someone who is friendly, approachable and patient. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to contribute to a positive lunchtime experience. The role requires someone who is reliable and committed and enjoys working as part of a team. Full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.

Kingsway Park High School was established in 2010 and joined the Altus Education Partnership in February 2022. We are now a very popular oversubscribed school (1350 students in years 7-11 and 190 staff) located in central Rochdale.
