Job overview
Main Responsibilities:
Provide campus-based counseling support for students on an individual as well as group basis.
Work closely with parents and teachers, implement student social-emotional learning programs.
Collaborate with different teaching and pastoral teams whenever appropriate to ensure students’ diverse needs are met holistically.
Coordinating responses to critical incidents for students.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Counseling/Social Work or other relevant disciplines; Master’s degree would be an added advantage.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant counseling experience in working with adolescents
- Experience in a bilingual school setting preferred
- Good written and spoken English and Chinese would be an advantage
- Valid teaching or counselor certification
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to take the initiative and the flexibility to deal with change
- Enthusiasm, energy, creativity and the willingness to take risks.
