Brockworth Primary Academy based in Gloucestershire, opened September 2012 and is sponsored by the Academies Enterprise Trust (AET).  The Academy caters for children from ages 4-11 and there are approximately 211 children on our register in Foundation, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

We have large spacious classrooms, an ICT suite, iPads in every class, a library, excellent resources for the curriculum and attractive grounds, which include a pond, nature area and plenty of space for sports. We have many active sports teams including football, rugby and netball.

We are looking to appoint a minibus driver who can collect some children from their homes or collection points each morning to ensure they arrive to the academy on time.  We require someone who can be flexible and undertake additional journeys on a claims basis as and when required such as for additional events during the day or for afterschool activities such as away football matches. You will be responsible for ensuring the minibus is kept clean and tidy and for ensuring it is safe and roadworthy. You will also be responsible for ensuring Service Checks and the MOT is up to date, taking it to the garage when needed (hours for this will be on a claim basis).

The successful candidate will be flexible, friendly and will have good communication skills.

The curriculum in the academy falls into three phases known as The Foundation Stage which covers a child’s first year in the academy in the reception class; Key Stage 1 which covers children in academy years one and two and Key Stage 2 which covers the junior years in school, years three to six.  More information about our curriculum can be found here.
