We are currently seeking to appoint a dynamic and competent part-time Music Teacher to work at Raphael Independent School.

This Music Teacher role will require you to be passionate about your subject and deliver an exciting and stimulating Music curriculum across key stage three and four. The main requirements of this Music Teacher role involve teaching lessons to small classes of expected and more able students in a classroom setting, that instils; a love of Music, confidence in learning the subject, and a resilience and mind-set for being independent learners. Although a large part of your role will be between yourself and the students it is also very important that you can collaborate effectively as part of a team.

The current Music Teacher post is ideal for candidates with previous Music Teacher experience who hold the required qualifications. One of the main focuses of the school is recruiting a teacher eager and keen to work in a context of school improvement, ensuring the school is 'Good'. You must be highly focused on good outcomes for all pupils, be nurturing of the students learning and development whilst creating an enjoyable and supportive environment for its staff members.

Although experienced teachers would be very well suited for this role, the school are more than happy to accept applications from newly qualified Music Teachers who have recently completed their teaching qualification. The school can support your NQT year and offer a very supportive and friendly environment for newly qualified Music Teachers.
