Music Teacher (Part Time)

Catholic Education in the Diocese of Rockhampton invites applications for the position of part time contract Music Teacher (3 days a week,18 HPW) at St Francis Xavier Catholic Primary School, Mackay commencing 20 January 2020 until 17 January 2021.

We invite applications from qualified educators who are committed to the ideals of Catholic schools and possess the following:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• The ability to develop and implement a dynamic and creative classroom Music program from Prep to Year 6, incorporating other area of The Arts
• Expertise to coordinate and lead school choir groups
• Appropriate qualities, knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education
• Current Queensland College of Teachers Registration

The successful applicants will demonstrate a deep commitment to providing quality Catholic education and learning based on a personal faith as well as be a highly trained and qualified professional with significant experience in the provision of high-quality music programs.  You will have well developed organisational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to work well in a team, as well as the ability to work independently.
