About Granville Plus Nursery School

Granville Plus Nursery School includes a maintained nursery school, provision for under threes funded by parental fees and the Early Years Single Funding Formula and NEG2 funding for 2 year old children who meet specific criteria. The School currently has 40 full-time equivalent places for children aged 3 to 4 years, and 41 for children aged 6 months to 3 years, with a mix of part-time and full-time places. We are also one of Brent's Specialist Nurseries, with places allocated by a Specialist Panel in additionally resourced provision for children with autistic spectrum disorder, and for children with disabilities, and children in need.

Our opening hours  can support parents who work or study full time; we are open from 8.00 to 6.00, for 48 weeks per year, closing for 2 weeks in the summer and 2 weeks at Christmas. Teachers have teachers terms and conditions, but benefit from flexibility across the year. The majority of children attend in term times.

We offer our local community a range of services for young children and their families, within an innovative, architect designed, refurbished/extended building, with a wide range of sustainable (“green”) features. We are in the South Kilburn regeneration area, close to tube and Train.

Our services cover a range of Extended provision: integrated childcare and education; family and parental advice; volunteering opportunities; support for parents and students seeking to return to work or gain an education qualification. We have good links with our local primary schools. We are committed to the active involvement of children, parents and other users.
