St Mary Magdalene is an all through school in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, based across two different campuses. We currently have a vacancy at our Greenwich Peninsula campus for a Nursery Assistant.  

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual who can contribute a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children in our Nursery.

The ideal candidate must have a Level 2 or higher/equivalent childcare qualification and be confident, articulate and able to support learning across the Early Years Foundation Stage with a commitment to raising levels of achievement.

This position is term time only (including INSET days), 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

As this role will involve contact with children we will take up at least two references before interview, asking about your suitability to work with children. Any job offer will be conditional on you having a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service Criminal Records Check and Barred List Check, having the legal right to work in the UK and having satisfactory overseas criminal records checks if deemed necessary.
