£18,933 - £20,092 FTE Actual Salary £16,164.66- £17,154.20

33.75 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Beacon Academy is situated in Loughborough, with approximately 360 children on r ole including a Moderate Learning Difficulty (MLD) resource base. Our staff are embracing the changes because we have huge potential and a commitment to rapid improvement.

This will be a highly rewarding role with the potential to make a significant and sustained impact on our school and community in which it sits. Beacon Academy is part of Academies Enterprise Trust (AET) national network of over 57 primary, secondary and special academies.

Our new Nursery Assistant will be responsible, in the first instance, for supporting children in our nursery. 

The successful candidate will: 

  • Have a Level 3 qualification in childcare (or above) 
  • Have experience of supporting and adapting learning for pupils in a nursery setting 
  • Have experience of working with young people 
  • Have experience of supporting children with SEND and Emotional and Behavioural  Needs, which are often challenging and complex.  
  • Be flexible, positive and have a ‘can do’ attitude
