Edgeborough is an outstanding co-educational Preparatory School with approximately 370 pupils aged between 2 and 13.   The School is set in 50 acres of beautiful, rolling Surrey countryside in Frensham.  It is extremely well resourced, both in terms of buildings and staff.  Facilities include a Sports Hall, Theatre, Music, Art, DT and Dance studios, state of the art Science and ICT facilities, Swimming Pool,  an outstanding Boarding House and a large Astro-turf. 

Edgeborough is one of Surrey’s top Prep Schools and is a fantastic environment in which to work. The Nursery and Pre-School are situated on the main site and thereby benefit from the school’s excellent facilities.  The successful candidate will be a fully qualified practitioner (with a full and relevant Level 5 Childcare qualification; NVQ5, EYTS, QTS, B.Ed or above). They should also have a minimum of 5 years experience within the Early Years sector, ideally with two of these years at a managerial level. Vitally, we are seeking a dynamic, proactive, positive, caring professional with excellent communication and inter-personal skills who will inspire and lead the team and oversee daily practice in our Nursery and Pre-School.

Edgeborough is one of Surrey’s top preparatory schools.

There are approximately 380 children aged 2 – 13, the huge majority of whom go on to some of the country’s leading independent senior schools. These include: Bradfield College, Canford, Charterhouse, Churcher’s College, Cranleigh, Eton College, RGS Guildford, Guildford High School, Harrow, King Edward’s School Witley, Lord Wandsworth College, Marlborough College, Monkton Combe, Prior’s Field, Radley, St Catherine’s Bramley, St Swithun’s, Tormead, Wellington College and Winchester College. Edgeborough enjoys a very strong reputation and overall entrance results are high with a large number of pupils successful in gaining scholarships throughout the disciplines.   Older pupils are encouraged make excellent use of the school’s weekly and flexi-boarding provision.

The school is extremely well resourced both in terms of buildings and equipment.  Sports facilities include grass pitches, sports hall (x4 badminton courts), outdoor swimming pool, and large astro-turfed area (x4 netball pitches).  Additional facilities include: theatre, music suites, art studio, a drama and dance studio, well-equipped science laboratories and state of the art ICT facilities.
