Nursery Nurse required to cover Maternity Leave - One Year Fixed Contract

Required: ASAP on a Fixed Term Contract for One Year.

Salary:  £13,086 per annum inclusive.

Hours:   20 hours per week from 8.30am to 12.30pm, Term Time only, plus inset days

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Nursery Nurse who is prepared to support and promote the Catholic ethos of the school, covering a period of Maternity Leave Absence in our Early Years class.  

We are a one-form entry vibrant Catholic Primary School within a five minute walk from Southall Main line Train, close to major roads and bus routes, & we can offer on-site car parking.

Candidates must be NNEB / NVQ3 qualified in Early Years. A current First Aid certificate/Paediatric qualification is desirable. 

A sound working knowledge of the foundation stage and experience of working with 3-5 age range is essential.  Excellent communication & written skills are required, together with the ability to be part of an energetic team delivering a creative curriculum linked to the Early Learning Goals. The role involves the use of IPAD’s & recording pupil progress in EYFS using the ‘Early Essence‘ Programme, therefore competent ICT skills are essential.
