Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and suitably qualified Nursery Practitioner to Level 3 or above to work in our thriving co-educational independent day school for pupils aged 2-18yrs. The successful candidate will work within the Early Years Foundation Stage in assisting in all aspects of day to day care through social, emotional, educational and practical interaction, nurturing and guidance. They should be an exceptional educator and excited about working as part of the wider Quinton House community. Our latest inspection report stated that provision in the Nursery is “Outstanding.”

At Quinton House, we seek to provide our pupils with a range of opportunities to ensure their success in an ever-changing world. Our pupils are enthusiastic, well behaved and eager to learn and we are looking for a creative and dedicated practitioner to join our supportive and friendly staff team.

You will have responsibility for the teaching, learning and achievement of a key group of pupils within the nursery, whilst working to fulfil the overall aims of the school by inspiring pupils to be the best they can be. Candidates for the position should be willing to contribute to the extensive co-curricular life of this excellent, happy and caring school.

Applications are welcome from those with appropriate independent or maintained sector experience. The salary will be commensurate to experience and based on a 50 week contract.
