St David's College is looking for a part-time HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with knowledge of mild to moderate Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADD/ADHD, DCD, attachment disorder and executive function disorder is currently sought by a wonderful mainstream school with a specialism in the teaching and learning of pupils with specific learning difficulties at St David’s College.
The school’s leadership team are searching for an Occupational Therapist to complete their fantastic multi-disciplinary team on a permanent and part-time basis. There is also an option for private practitioners to deliver therapy.
The Occupational Therapist will work with children and young adults aged 9-19, with a approximately 40% of whom have a diagnosis of mild to moderate Autistic Spectrum Disorder, DCD, executive function difficulties, focus and attention difficulties and attachment disorder. The school has based its ongoing success on a collaborative ‘child centred’ working practice and welcomes applications from Occupational Therapists who very much share this ethos.
St David’s College is an independent boarding and day school near to Llandudno. St David’s College was founded on Christian principles and continues to promote them today. Many teachers live on site and the supportive residential community.
The school is located on a beautiful historic campus nestled between Snowdonia and the Irish Sea.
