Garratt Park School is a secondary special school in Earlsfield for students aged 11-19. Students who attend the school have a wide range of Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND). These include Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). 

As part of the therapies team, you will be supporting education staff in the integration of sensory and motor skills outcomes as well as providing training.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced occupational therapist to join a high profile therapy team including Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy. You will have delivered an occupational therapy service within an educational setting and be skilled at working effectively, training others and liaising with the multidisciplinary team.  You should be a creative therapist who is highly motivated, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  You should be a confident and knowledgeable practitioner, looking to extend your clinical occupational therapy skills in a classroom setting alongside other professionals committed to enhancing all aspects of functional skills across the curriculum.

Your commitment to the belief that all children can do and learn, whatever their disabilities, is an essential requirement for this post.  Experience and/or knowledge of working with children who have Special Educational Needs is essential.
