Fulham Cross Academy (FCA), an 11-16 converter academy with 6th form is rated good by Ofsted. Together with Fulham Cross Girls’ School (FCGS) rated outstanding by Ofsted it forms the Fulham Cross Academy Trust (FCAT), a small multi academy trust (MAT).

The Trust is passionate about both the academic achievement of its students and their growth as adult citizens and individuals. Drawn from the local inner-city community the school roll comprises a significant number of students eligible for Free School Meals and those for whom English is not their first home language. The Trust has a highly inclusive focus, a strong ethos of celebrating diversity and a strong pastoral system. Both schools also host a co-hort of students from a local special school who become integrated into mainstream lessons as they develop.

The Trust uses Capita SIMS for its MIS. The majority of its administration will move to a “google” platform from September and the Trust is in the process of implementing a new support staff structure.

Based at FCA the post holder will report to both the Trust Finance Director and the Head of School for FCA. In this way the new post holder will be a key player in the Trust Finance Team with responsibilities for the delivery of operations at the school in liaison with her/his senior support staff colleagues.

The successful candidate will have proven financial, operational and managerial skills in a school setting and be familiar with the administrative tools the school uses. A Certificate in School Business Management or equivalent is preferable.

She/he will be committed to the Trust ethos and eager to use the role to assist all students to reach their full potential by supporting them, the curriculum staff and those that lead them. A knowledge of school/academy compliance requirements in the areas of finance, premises and administration would be ideal.

Candidates with appropriate qualifications and experience are asked to complete an application form available on the TES website, via email robinsl@fulhamcollege.net or on the school website www.fulhamcrossacademy.co.uk

Please refer to the JD/Person Specification when completing the application form. You are welcome to submit a CV but this must be accompanied by a completed application form.

Please note we will be reviewing applications as and when they are received. We maintain the right to appoint at any point within the process.

We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment.
