One-to-One Tutor of English

Part-time, 15 hours per week

We are delighted to be making an appointment for the position of One-to-One Tutor of English for our high achieving 11-18 academy in North Yorkshire - Outwood Academy Easingwold.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to join our Family of Schools and work with us as part of the team who rapidly transforms the school to one that offers outstanding provision and is the school of choice in its community. You should possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference and have a firm love of your subject and a desire to support our young people to reach their full potential.

Applications are invited from those with experience of teaching English or newly qualified teachers. We seek someone who can effectively support selected students through individually tailored programmes of One-to-One tuition and small group work. We provide excellent staff development and departments are well supported by the expert guidance of our Subject Directors who work across our academies.

Although schools are closed to visitors at the moment, we are still planning for the future and recruiting. Interviews will still be able to take place as the Trust has embedded use of technology to conduct these remotely via skype/video conferencing wherever possible and appropriate.
