St Helen and St Katharine is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic person with a love of outdoor education and a belief in what these experiences can offer an individual. The School wishes to continue to develop our strand of personal development through outdoor learning and adventures.
Working with the Head of Outdoor Learning, this role will be split between supporting the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme and developing and leading outdoor activities across the full age range Y5-U6.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme is managed by the Head of Outdoor Learning. There are high levels of participation at Bronze and Silver levels with some students also attaining Gold.
Due to the nature of this role flexibility is required, this will involve working at weekends and during school holidays.
All staff share the responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the students, in accordance with the School’s safeguarding policies.
