Humberston Academy is now recruiting for a PA to Principal.
We are seeking to appoint an organised and self-motivated PA, ideally with experience in an education setting to provide confidential professional support to the Principal. The candidate will assist with the smooth, efficient running of the senior leadership team and manage information and business flow between the team.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, an excellent communicator and have the ability to multitask, dependant on the needs of the academy.

Humberston Academy is an oversubscribed ‘outstanding’ academy located in an affluent area of North East Lincolnshire. As well as being an outstanding academy, Humberston Academy achieved ‘World Class Schools’ status in December 2019. About the role
Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.
Motivation to work with children and young people.
5 GCSE at C grade or above including Maths and English
Good numeracy/literacy skills.
Effective use of ICT to support learning.
Committed to working co-operatively with young people; able to communicate sensitively, imaginatively and effectively with them
Able to communicate effectively with parents to represent the Academy positively and feedback information as appropriate
First aid trained and experience of administering first aid
Enthusiastic and prepared to work hard
Honest and trustworthy
Good organisation and time management skills
Have high expectations of what students can achieve
Fully supportive of the aims and ethos of Humberston Academy
Permanent role 37 hrs over 39 weeks
Monday to Friday – 08:00 to 16:00

Who we are looking for
Educated to NVQ level 4, HND or foundation degree level and/or equivalent knowledge and experience
Knowledge for developing and management of relevant administrative procedures, including use of relevant ICT packages and systems, and knowledge of administration policies and procedures, equivalent to national qualifications level 4
Sound knowledge and understanding of Data Protection, Safeguarding and confidentiality issues
Innovative skills for developing, planning and managing clerical, secretarial and administrative support to the principal
Analytical skills for interpreting data and complex information
Proven ability for record keeping information retrieval and dissemination of data/documentation to relevant parties

A total of 84% of students at Humberston Academy achieved 4 to 9 in GCSE Maths this summer. In English, the figure was 88%. 82% of students achieved above grade 4 in the combine Maths and English measure. These results once again confirms our place among the top-performing schools in the area.
