The Governors seek to appoint an exceptional individual to support the Headteacher to be effective in leading and managing all aspects of St Thomas More Language College to impact on the quality of the Catholic Curriculum, the students’ experience, and their achievement, for this outstanding oversubscribed mixed Catholic comprehensive in the heart of Chelsea.

You will:

• Be supportive of  the school’s Catholic ethos

• Have high-level PA or senior secretarial experience

• Have HR administration / personnel experience

• Have the experience and ability to line manage

• Have high expectations of yourself and others

• Be a focal point of contact at the College for parents and outside agencies

• Be well organised and be able to prioritise workload

• Be prepared to work flexible hours

• Be experienced in dealing with confidential work 

• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, and a high standard of written and spoken English

• Have a high level of competency in ICT

About St Thomas More Language College

St Thomas More Language College is a co-educational voluntary aided school based in Kensington and Chelsea in London for students aged 11-16. It is a Roman Catholic school.

At the heart of the school’s buildings stands its chapel. Mass is celebrated at the beginning of each school day. In tutor groups, each morning there is also a daily act of worship composed around a whole school theme. 

The school also has a house system and throughout the year there are a variety of inter-house competitions.
