Part-time Attendance Officer

Would you like to be part of a support team that makes a difference to children's life chances?

We are expanding our Student Welfare Team and seeking to appoint a part-time Attendance Officer to join us at John O’Gaunt School.  You will monitor daily attendance and follow up on any absence, liaising with families and external agencies and working as part of an essential team within the school.

Knowledge of SIMS (School Information Management System) would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.  You should be able to demonstrate effective use of Microsoft Office packages and have strong communication skills; both verbal and written.

Contract type: Permanent, term time only, plus 3 inset days (38.6 working weeks)

Working Hours: 15hours per week / 3hrs per day

Flexible - 08:30 to 11:30 OR 09:00-12:00  Monday to Friday

Salary:  £6,405 to £6,663 (this is the pro-rata salary for part-time and term time only.

Start date: As soon as possible
