ABC teachers are working with a wonderful school in Selly Oak, Birmingham to recruit a part time PPA teacher to join them from September 2018. The role will be working 3 mornings per week, which can be flexible to suit your needs, and will require a consistent and reliable teacher to fulfil the role.

The school is a busy 2 form entry which has a good reputation and was most recently recognised as ‘good’ by Ofsted. The staff work well as a team by planning together to ensure a challenging and engaging curriculum is available to all the pupils and are consistent in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all pupils to learn and grow.

The successful candidate will be a forward thinking teacher who can act as a positive role model to all and can demonstrate consistency and positive behaviour management. The role will run on a temporary basis for a minimum of 1 term. 

What to do next:

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce. You will need to pay for this upfront, but once you are fully registered, have uploaded this onto the Update Service and have worked 1 full day with us then we will reimburse you the cost.  At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you. 

We will need to gain academic references to cover the last 12 months, one of which must be a school based reference. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
